Domestic wastewater treatment plant type ACO ROXNITRO 500 D3.5 by means of a moving bed biofilm reactor system (MBBR), manufactured in glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), in horizontal format for installation underground. With treatment capacity for 500 users and a hydraulic demand of 75 m³/day, with high purification performance in compliance with RD 509/1996. Solution consisting of compact equipment with dimensions 13440mm long, 3500mm wide and 3650mm high. With inlet connection and outlet DN250 and aeration DN63 DN250. Total installed power: 7,3W. - The equipment is designed to treat waste water with the following composition: BOD5: 400ppm, COD: 600ppm, SS: 450ppm, NT: 50ppm
Stages of operation:
- 1- Screen (recommended): Coarse solids carried by the water are intercepted by a grate at the inlet of the equipment.
- 2- The oxygen in the recirculated nitrates decomposes the organic matter and produces nitrogen gas. The agitator facilitates the release of the gas and the mixing of nitrates with the wastewater.
- 3- Biological reactor: In the aerobic reactor, the biological decomposition of organic matter takes place thanks to the supply of air and the generation of aerobic microorganisms.
- 4- Decanting: The sludge resulting from the decomposition of the organic matter is calmed, deposited inside the decanter. The decanted sludge is recirculated back to the reactor by pumping .
