- Single-phase current 230 V
DWO (mg/l)<50
- SS (mg/l) <2
- Turbidity (UNT) <1
- Escherichia coli (CFU/100 ml) 0
- Nematode eggs (eggs/10 l) <1
- Effluent qualities
- BOD5 (mg/l)<15
Effluent qualities
- BOD5 (%) = 90
- COD (%) = 83
- SS (%) = 98
- Turbidity (%) = 99
- The equipment is designed to treat waste water with the following composition: BOD5: 400ppm, COD: 600ppm, SS: 450ppm
4- Chlorination and accumulation: The treated water is chlorinated by dosing sodium hypochlorite allowing the sanitary properties of the effluent to be preserved ensuring water reuse and then stored in the accumulation compartment.
- Stages of operation:
- 1- Roughing: This consists of removing any solids that may be carried by the water, mainly hair, which could damage the membranes.
- 2- Biological oxidation: Biological decomposition of the organic matter takes place in the biological reactor thanks to the contribution of air and the generation of aerobic microorganisms.
- 3- Filtration: Solid-liquid separation takes place by filtration using membrane technology. By means of a suction system, a vacuum pressure is exerted on the membranes, creating an outside-inside flow so that the water penetrates through the membranes, leaving the solids and bacteria on the outer wall. The diffusers create an upward air flow that cleans the outer wall surface of the membranes and ensures aerobic conditions.
